Leather & Sheepskin Care Guide

PRESERVING CRAFTSMANSHIP • TIMELESS QUALITY • LIFETIME ENDURANCE

At House of Azzy, every piece is crafted from premium hides and natural sheepskin designed to age gracefully over time. Proper care ensures your garment retains its softness, structure, and rich patina for generations to come. Follow this essential guide to preserve the integrity of your leather investment.

  • 1. Cleaning & Wipe-Down

Use a soft, dry microfibre cloth to wipe away surface dust after wear. For stubborn spots, use a slightly damp cloth with mild diluted leather cleaner—never submerge in water.

  • 2. Conditioning & Moisture

Apply a high-quality, wax-free leather balm every 6–12 months. Conditioning prevents the hide from drying, cracking, or losing its natural flexibility over time.

  • 3. Proper Storage

Hang your jacket on a wide, padded wooden coat hanger to maintain shoulder shape. Always store in our breathable organic cotton dust bag—never in plastic.

SPECIAL CARE FOR SHEEPSKIN & SHEARLING

Suede/Leather Exterior: Brush wool or suede outer layers gently with a specialist suede brush to restore nap and remove dry dirt.

Shearling Wool Interior: Shake out your coat periodically to fluff the wool fibres. Spot clean light spills using a damp sponge and dry naturally.

Rain Protection: Allow wet leather or sheepskin to air-dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources (radiators or hairdryers).
